Alex Bogusky

Just one glance at Alex Bogusky’s shoulder-length hair, dynamic workspaces, or mischievous grin will tell you that this is no average Joe. Every so often, someone comes along who breaks all of the rules – and reinvents an industry. Alex Bogusky is exactly this type of Bro.
Bogusky’s firm, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, is known for its innovative approach to marketing. You’ve probably taken note of his ads for the gritty “Truth” anti-smoking campaign, Mini Coopers, or Burger King (those new ‘King’ spots? All Bogusky). Currently based in Boulder, Colorado, CP+B has offices in Miami, Venice Beach, and London to accommodate its exponentially expanding client list, which includes everyone from Nike to American Express to Best Buy. Over the years, critics predicted doom and gloom for CP+B’s controversial techniques and innovative ideas. But taking the lead from Bogusky’s no-holds-barred approach, CP+B not only succeeded, they thrived. Viral campaigns such as the Subservient Chicken website for Burger King took the Internet by storm, becoming a sensation nearly overnight and capturing the attention and interest of the coveted youth demographic.
Bogusky’s newest assignment would make most execs pretty nervous, but he’s taking it in stride. He’s charged with the task of revamping Microsoft’s brand. In an age when being a PC is increasingly uncool, Bogusky will lead a campaign that makes Microsoft a force to be reckoned with. Thinking outside of the box and employing a fearless business ethic have elevated Alex Bogusky to the top of his game – a true Brofessional.

Hot on the 08-09 runways is an oldie but a goodie: plaid!
When it comes to ties in 2008, less is more.
With Wall Street in unprecedented territory, nothing is certain. When people get scared, we like to revert back to the familiar – whether it’s an ex-girlfriend, your mother’s mac and cheese, or that darned security blanket.
