Christian Bale was arrested yesterday for “flying off the handle” and “cussing” his mother after she said “outrageous” things about his wife, former model Sandra 'Sibi' Blazic, according to the Daily Mail website.
Bale was released by the London police after five hours of questioning. He denied any wrongdoing.
Bale, who was in London promoting his new film The Dark Knight, “didn’t lay a finger on anyone” during the dispute on Sunday, according to a source that spoke to the Daily Mail.
“Christian's attitude is that this was his mother's fault because she became very provocative in an argument they were having.”
He will continue his promotional tour of The Dark Knight, with the next stop Barcelona as the film opens around the world. He is also expected to continue shooting the next Terminator film following the assault allegation.
