Eva Mendez
Eva Mendez (born March 5, 1974 in Miami, Florida) is a Cuban-American actress, best known for her roles in Major Hollywood films such as 2 Fast 2 Furious, Hitch, Training Day, Ghost Rider and We Own the Night. After studying acting in her youth, she eventually caught the eye of an agent who convinced her to pursue acting more steadily. After working her way up through commercials, music videos and guest roles in soap operas, she finally landed her first film role in the 1998 direct to video Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror. Her first "big screen break" came when she was cast in Training Day alongside Ethan Hawke and Denzel Washington.
