Fonzworth Bentley

One of the hallmarks of a true Brofessional is the seemingly natural tendency to talk, walk, and act like a consummate professional, with the style and personality of a Bro. The key is to make it seem effortless, but for some people, it takes a lot of work. Fortunately, Fonzworth Bentley is willing to help.
Bentley, best known for his hip hop career, has found success as both an artist and an entertainer. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Morehouse College, Bentley attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. Following that, he got his showbiz start as a personal assistant to P. Diddy. It wasn’t long at all before Bentley was a star himself – and now the Bro is hosting his own reality TV series, “From G’s to Gents.” The MTV series aims to educate the uninformed on the lost art of being a true gentleman. Bentley takes hopeless dudes and attempts to help them become educated, informed, well-mannered young men.
At a young age, Bentley’s already accomplished a lot. He wrote, directed, and starred in an original series for BET, and has contributed to a variety of television and film projects in various capacities. He also is involved with the non-profit KnowHow2Go, which encourages low-income or first-generation students to go to college. As a former FIT student, Polo employee, and apprentice to designer Alan Flusser, Bentley’s got his own, inimitable style that keeps the ladies coming back for more. Sharp business savvy and fashion finesse put Fonzworth Bentley squarely on our list of Bros in the know!
One of the main differences between a novice and an expert is prioritization.

Like several other fashion trends, everything old is new again when it comes to telling time.
Sure, summer 2009 is still many long, cold months away.
If you took just one hint from the NYC Fashion Week runway, it should be simple: think striped.
Hot on the 08-09 runways is an oldie but a goodie: plaid!
When it comes to ties in 2008, less is more.
With Wall Street in unprecedented territory, nothing is certain. When people get scared, we like to revert back to the familiar – whether it’s an ex-girlfriend, your mother’s mac and cheese, or that darned security blanket.
