Kat Von D
Kat Von D (a.k.a Katherine Von Drachenberg) is an American tattoo artist and television personality born on March 8, 1982 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Growing up in Colton, California, Kat made her first tattoo when she was just 14 years old, using tattoo gear that she had built herself. In 1998 she got her first job working for Sin City Tattoo, and, after gaining more experience, Kat was able to land a job working for True Tattoo, allowing her to work in Hollywood with several other prominent artists. Kat was also a featured artist on the TLC reality shows "Miami Ink" and "LA Ink." Outside tattooing, Kat works with several musicians and professional skateboarders, designing graphics for them, and she also works with Vitamin Angels, a non-profit organization that fights child blindness caused by vitamin deficiencies.
