In an previous tip of the day it was mentioned that hitting the snooze button can interrupt ten to twenty minutes of restful REM sleep. It is all to easy to hit the snooze and roll over. One thing you can do to avoid this is set your alarm clock out of arms reach. That way you are forced to get up out of bed and turn it off. By the time you are standing up, your blood flow is kicking and your body is waking up. And once you hit the shower and get that water on your face, you should be good for the day.
