Packing Other Business Attire
Yesterday we mentioned how to avoid creasing in your slacks and shirts when traveling. But what about the other stuff?
As for your shoes, you certainly do not want to 'smush' them. If you are not using a separate shoe bag and decide to put them in your suitcase or travel bag, you will want to individually wrap them in tissue and place them within the gaps of your suitcase. You may also want to place tissue inside the shoes at the tips of your toes to prevent indentations.
Belts should be rolled and placed within the gaps of your suitcase. This will help tighten up any loose space and make the suitcase snug, helping prevent creases or marks with all of your travel items.
Lastly, if you decide once again to place all items in one suitcase, your toiletries should be packed in a sealed waterproof bag. Zipped freezer bags are ideal. You can survive a few wrinkles in your clothes and iron them out, but you will not be able to recover if your hair gel or mouth wash opens up.
