Penn Badgley

A hit TV show and one of Hollywood's hottest babes on his arm: Penn Badgley's got it made. The newest It girl of the teen set, girlfriend Blake Lively first gained popularity in her role as sporty, fearless Bridget in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants films. With a starring role on Gossip Girl, her star has skyrocketed. Badgley, on the other hand, was largely unknown before Gossip Girl's 2007 premiere on the CW network. Though he's only 22, Badgley's past was filled with a string of critically-acclaimed but commercially-unpopular vehicles which were canceled during their first season. Fortunately, Gossip Girl is shaping up differently.
Born in Baltimore and raised in Richmond and Seattle, Penn always displayed a knack for fashion and an independent style. He's a fan of casual pieces with an edge, like a grey
and black mixed-fabric hoodie. He'll go tie-less to a premiere, staying classy in a dark button-down, blazer, and pants. In his free time, he pursues other creative passions such as writing, singing, and guitar, as well as athletic activities like surfing and snowboarding. This Bro also has mad intellectual abilities - he passed his high school proficiency exam at the age of 14 and began taking classes at Santa Monica City College. A smart, creative thinker and laidback artist, Penn has stayed grounded despite his successes - he's a Pro, but he hasn't lost his Bro.

If you took just one hint from the NYC Fashion Week runway, it should be simple: think striped.
Hot on the 08-09 runways is an oldie but a goodie: plaid!
When it comes to ties in 2008, less is more.
With Wall Street in unprecedented territory, nothing is certain. When people get scared, we like to revert back to the familiar – whether it’s an ex-girlfriend, your mother’s mac and cheese, or that darned security blanket.
