John Lennon said that he would often get the best ideas for his music as he was in bed going to sleep. He would force himself to get up and jot down his ideas and deal with them in the morning. Similarly, as our minds unwind the nest of the days caravan as we go to bed, new concepts and solutions pop into our heads. The best way to avoid fighting with your tired body is to simply keep a notepad and pen next to your bed. Click on your nightlight, write down the idea and deal with it in the morning. This way you can focus on your much needed rest and implement the thought with a rejuvenated mind.
