Tone Your Tie Down

When it comes to ties in 2008, less is more. While funky patterns and abstract visuals were in style at the turn of the century, today’s Bro knows to keep it simple with solids and shades. Pair a solid colored button down with a solid tie of a different color. Some complimentary duos include white and navy, hunter green and brown, navy and red, black and red, or yellow and blue. Try complimentary shades as well. If you’ve got a light brown button down going on, fix it up with a dark, chocolate brown tie. A pale blue shirt can pop with a dark blue tie. For a snazzier, standout look, try a black shirt with a silver tie.
