When to Cut Your Hair

Providing you are not sporting the shaved head look, you should consider getting your hair cut, if not trimmed, around every four to five weeks. By week six you run the risk of getting split ends. Of course, noticing split ends is not very typical for your run of the mill employee. But anyone who is anyone most likely has a keen eye to even the smallest detail, and chances are if your boss is a very successful businessman the smallest details will get noticed.

Outside factors of how often you should go to the hairdresser can vary from person to person, and your age and condition of your hair does make a difference. But while you are getting your haircut, engage in some small talk and ask your hairdresser what they think of your hair. You might have exceptionally fine hair, thin hair, or coarse hair. Your hairdresser works there for a reason, generally because they are knowledgeable about their craft. Chances are good that they will be able to recommend some products that will assist you in managing and maintaining your hair.

If you are looking to grow out your hair, atypical for a bro but doable nevertheless, then visit your hairdresser at least once within eight weeks, especially if you are new to it. Like your entire body, you want to maintain and regulate good hygiene. And remember that split ends on longer hair it is much more noticeable!

I am always up for suggestions

Rob those were good points. I tend to let my hair go without doing much maintenance, hence I am not the most savvy hair stylist for myself. I have been focusing on my appearance lately as I am engaging in the professional world a bit more these days. While I know I am getting better, advice is always welcome, especially if its good and free!

Hair Style Examples

I get my hair cut fairly often and like to mix it up with almost every haircut. I always need something that can fit in the office during the week and have a bit more style on the nights and weekends.

My biggest problems are 1. It is hard to find a creative hair stylist 2. Finding picture of what type of style I want to try out next. Its funny in the digital world with things like google images it is still very hard to find a great group of styles to chose from in one place. Might be the next big web site. I remember the books at the barber when I was younger with all the styles to chose from right there, can't seem to find the Internet equivalent.

Any suggestions?
